Feeling that her kitchen was outdated, Mrs Heno wanted a new kitchen with a modern design which would create the perfect environment for her open plan kitchen, living room and dining space. After seeing a sign for Kitchen Living she popped in to the showroom to get ideas, following this visit, she did not feel the need to shop around!
Originally Mrs Heno looked at having an Island in her new kitchen but soon realised that a peninsula with lights was a more suitable way of using the space and providing a divide between the living room and kitchen. She was looking to create a light, bright, contemporary kitchen with a splash of colour coming from an orange splashback similar to the kitchen showroom design.
Mrs Heno, like many others making a significant investment in their kitchen, was very anxious about the project and was not always sure she was making the right decisions. Fear of making wrong decisions can make doing a kitchen design very stressful. Mrs Heno was given all the time she needed and not put under any pressure. At one point she took two weeks away from the project and came back far more confident.
As soon as her orange splashback was put up, Mrs Heno realised it was the wrong look for her kitchen. Kitchen Living was able to provide her with an alternative which better blended in with the subtle kitchen colours which had been chosen. Mrs Heno’s mixture of grey bardolino oak and ultragloss solid mussell has given her a two tone kitchen which she is very proud of!
WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
“I could not have wished for a better team to help me design and install my kitchen. I was able to make decisions in my own time during the design process and I was impressed with all of the contractors during the installation process, they were all punctual and tidy. I have the kitchen I set out to have ”
