Portfolio – Burseldon

Our customers from Burseldon were having extensive renovations to their house and garden. In the new layout, their family room was to become a new large, open plan kitchen leading out on to the garden.

THE BRIEF

The customers always had a blue Island in their vision of what the kitchen should look like. Kitchen Living were able to accommodate this, giving ideas but also listening to what was required. When choosing the final blue colour, designer Jeff’s advice was ‘go deeper rather than paler’

THE CHALLENGE

The designing of the kitchen was one of the more straightforward tasks for the customer who was working on substantial renovations throughout the house – they said that ‘once the area was ready for the fitting of the kitchen, all went very smoothly!’

THE OUTCOME

Our customers now have a bespoke kitchen which is both striking and very practical. They chose a stunning two tone colour scheme with the drawing room blue Island cupboards and wooden worktop contrasting beautifully with the wimbourne white wall units and quartz. What really makes this kitchen unique is the very colourful patterned tiles which act as both a splashback and a feature wall. The same pattern tiles are also on the utility floor.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID

“I love it! Everything works very well. The Island is exactly what I wanted, a very large size, a wooden top with nothing on it and easy cleaning! I have so much storage space that I still have empty cupboards! The designers at Kitchen Living were very knowledgeable and the fitter was excellent, keeping to the schedule and very tidy!”
