Mr and Mrs B had a small kitchen which was rather dark and a separate dining room which was hardly used. They were looking to create a lighter and larger area for their kitchen living space which would lead straight to the garden.

THE BRIEF

In order to create a lighter and more spacious kitchen and dining area, the wall between the kitchen and dining room needed to be removed. After discussing many ideas, the client decided on various features including a two tone colour scheme, granite worktops, glass splashbacks, an induction hob and a very large wine cupboard!

THE CHALLENGE

The wine cupboard was unique and required the design and construction of a pair of custom made, full height storage cabinets with wire rack bottle storage for over 100 bottles of different sizes. They were made to the exact width and height of a specific corner area.

THE OUTCOME

Mr and Mrs B have a light and spacious kitchen space and a dining room that gets much more use. The kitchen has a striking two tone colour scheme of bone white and french grey/blue and their new island compliments this with a stunning blue pearl granite worktop.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID

We chose Kitchen Living because of the full project management they offered. During the design process we were treated like we were their only customers and the installers who came to our house were very friendly and very quick! We are thrilled with our new kitchen living space, particularly the island and wine cupboard!
