Portfolio – Titchfield
18 months after her kitchen and extension were completed, we visited a customer in Titchfield to see how she was getting on. We were delighted to find that even after all this time she still walks into her stunning open plan kitchen and thinks ‘wow!’
Mrs W was looking for an L shape extension to her property which would give her a large, open plan kitchen, a day room and an oak framed gazebo structure to house a hot tub. She had previously visited Kitchen Living and liked the flexibility and colour choice that would be available to her for her kitchen. With Kitchen Living also able to undertake the building work, she would be getting everything under one roof.
There was a large amount of building work involved and took a lot of co-ordination of tradespeople. In order to help manage expectations, a schedule of work was provided and there was constant communication with the office on progress. There were things that needed altering during the project, such as the worktop needed shortening, but the kitchen fitter, Phil was very calm and always knew when something wasn’t right and how to fix it.
Mrs W now has a stunning kitchen and day room with light pouring into it from two sets of bi-fold doors which span most of the width of the rooms. In the kitchen, the Lumi doors are a blend of stone grey and cream gloss with dark wood coloured drawers in the middle of each section providing a striking two tone effect. The island is a stunning feature with a breakfast bar at one end and a dual zone wine cabinet at the other, the main beam has blended perfectly with the work surface which is kauai cream quartz.
WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
The design process is so important and Jeff made it dynamic by providing very strong ideas and being very thorough. He is very passionate about what he does which makes it easy to trust him. The whole project went really well with no drama and little extras such as sourcing blinds for us made the service great rather than just good. I am really happy and proud of my kitchen and living space.
